For over 40 years, the creater of this website has been imersed in the drama and humdrum of human existence in very personal ways. As a law enforcement officer, emergency medical technician / firefighter, Fire Chief, and Emergency Response Manager, he has experienced the best and worst of what humanity has to offer, both in crisis, and in everyday situations.

The purpose of Rimcat Media is to reach out and touch others in a positive way. Using the communication of the written word, paint brush, and voice, Richard seeks to share with a troubled world, the beauty of life, the value of history, and the joy of knowing God. There is so much to be learned from the past, so much to be appreciated about today, and so very much to look forward to as God fulfills his promises to this world.
